Whimsy Spotlight Wednesday...

Here is what you all have been waiting for....right?!! Finally it's here.

The first Whimsy Spotlight Wednesday!

But first I must tell you, I now finally have a name for my style... all because of you. Thanks for all your sweet comments and thoughtful insight to help me define what my style is. I'm calling my style "Whimsy French Cottage." So, what do you think? I think it is very fitting for me! A little Whimsy, a touch of french and the casual, distressed and airy feel of cottage...just perfect for me. Thanks to you all!

Now back to the Main Event!

Whimsy Spotlight Wednesday...

Have you ever met someone in your life that from the moment the conversation started you felt a connection? A kindred spirit. That is how I would define the friendship that I have found with Janet Doherty the writer of "It's an Evolution."

I first met Janet, when I started blogging myself, the first of this year. We instantly connected and related. She is a very thoughtful, kind, and a loving friend. Visiting her blog you are automatically drawn into her calm and serene style of writing. She has a way of making you feel welcomed and wanting to stay for awhile.

She enjoys sharing her family, friends, decorating, business and her travels. Janet is a mother of 3 wonderful children, 2 handsome boys and 1 beautiful daughter. Married to a great husband that she lovingly refers to as 'The Accountant". She loves being a mother and wife, one of her greatest joys.

It's always fun to see where she's gone, what she's seen, and what she's experienced. Janet has a way of inviting the reader into her personal thoughts.

In a recent post she describes her adventure attending the Country Living Women Entrepreneurs.
There she was able to talk with the new editor and chief of Country Living magazine Sarah Gray Miller, answer questions she had about her own business and made some great new friends.

Looked like it would have been so much fun!

Janet's many new friends.

Lots of familiar faces to us in blog land.

So much more to read and see, so make sure to visit her blog and leave her a sweet comment! Who doesn't enjoy some blog love?!

As I mentioned before, Janet is also a business owner and artist for her Etsy shop, It's an Evolution. She designs beautiful floral arrangements, whimsical friendship wands (even wands for teachers!), Vintage tea time place settings and door decor. Look at just some of the gorgeous items she has for sale...
